During the past 10+ years I’ve had the opportunity to work and deal with almost all the Operators and Service
Providers throughout the Latin America region, going from big/Tier 1 Operators such us Telefonica, America
Movil, TIM or Oi in Brazil, to smaller but not less important Operators like Entel Chile/Peru, VTR, Nextel, Millicom,
just to name a few. That gave me the chance to know these Operators, understand how they work and
operate, who the decision makers are and how decisions are made, learn about their networks and plans
for future years, and most importantly to create a solid and diverse social and professional network in the
Region. I also had the chance to work with different partners throughout the region and to create similar
networks within the vendors ecosystem.
Along all these years, and particularly during the last two and a half years, I had the opportunity to be on the
forefront of the technology, positioning different type of solutions, going from a standalone SBC or a Diameter
Router to an e2e IMS Solution for VoLTE or VoWiFi Services. In addition, during those 2+ years working for a SW
Company, I’ve succeed at positioning e2e Virtualized Solutions and more recently NFV/SDN based solutions
as well as cloud based deployment.
Also, given my previous experience on the technical area while working for Alcatel-Lucent, I have a very
good technical background and that, today, makes my job easier and allows me to position both technical
and commercial aspects of a given solution.
Last but not least, part of my job has been to help Operators/Service Providers to define a strategy for the
evolution of their network. That means, understanding how to evolve the network, how to create value for
their subscribers and most importantly how to monetize a given solution or investment. That has helped me
creating a good and decent reputation within the Service Providers space.
Finally, being able to communicate and establish business relationships in English, Spanish and Portuguese is
